Amy & Christopher
This sweet, super honest and very trendy Bride stole my heart the moment I met her. She sung the song of my ppl... you know when you meet someone and you just get them. Amy shared her vision and her love for geometric shapes. She had this natural, slightly industrial w/ this twist of boho & contemporary thang going on... if that makes sense to you... It made perfect sense to me!!!
She was marrying her love Christopher a Dallas Chef who shares her same style and love for food. The two of them also share a son together Elliott. The most adorable, energetic, little guy I have yet to meet and boy could he dance!
The Ceremony:
The Phoenix Ballroom was the perfect backdrop of industrial elegance. We lined the lit fireplace with candles, geo shapes and lush greenery. Dripping greenery out of the chandelier overlooking the fireplace and added a large vintage mirror to reflect all the green gorgeousness!
Cocktail Hour:
While the wedding party took photos, the guests enjoyed an open bar, poached shimp shooters a charcuterie display and mini bahn mi while the ceremony space was flipped to the reception.
The Reception:
Round and Rectangle tables were alternated, adorn with garlands of lush mixed greenery ornamental berries and rosemary. Geometric shapes were incorporated into all of the tables with an array of taper, pillar and votive candles. The antique gold flatware was the perfect accent on the ivory dupioni linen.
The cake table was the perfect geometric/ contemporary addition to the room. 3 cakes on double footed pedestals, marbled w/ touches of geo accents sat under a display of vertical dripping lights.
The lounge also featuring the vertical dripping lights made for the perfect guest photo stop.
Dinner station included a tuna tataki station, a flank steak carving station, slow roasted pork, mac and cheese bar and grilled root veggies.
The bride & groom danced all night to the sounds of G-Fire productions and the guests enjoyed a do nut hole dipping station as a late night snack! ( I am such a sucker for late night snacks!)
The newley weds departed as guests threw hand fulls of snow all around them. The perfect exit for this winter affair.
Legacy Limo party buses took the couple and their wedding party out on the town for more dancing and fun.
Christina Carroll captured the entire day and well.... see for yourself. It was epic.
XOXO - Karla
